| Adding or Dropping Units | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Adding or Dropping Units Before Census Disbursement of financial aid is based upon the number of units in which you are enrolled at the time your aid is disbursed. Your disbursement statement will detail this information. If you ADD units after your financial aid has been disbursed: If you drop units after all your financial aid funds have been disbursed prior to census:
Important: Enrolling in 6.0 units or less means that you pay a lower registration fee. This lower cost affects eligibility for a State University Grant and other aid. If you drop units after census, you may not be required to repay financial aid funds. However, because your enrollment has changed, you may be 'unit deficient' and may not be eligible for future financial aid. (Refer to Academic Progress-Unit Deficiency and Its Consequences.)
