	Credential Program Students' Eligibility for Financial Aid
	The College of Education offers programs that lead to teaching, specialist, and services credentials. Students seeking a credential should consult with departmental advisers for program requirements and to determine their eligibility for admission. Your specific admission status to the credential program determines your financial aid eligibility. Admission Status Conditionally or Fully Admitted to a Teaching Credential Program You may be considered for— Pell Grant (only while enrolled in required credential course work of at least 6 units) State University Grant Federal Work Study (FWS) Perkins Loan Federal Direct Student Loans Credential Program Other Than Teaching If you are conditionally or fully admitted to a credential program other than a teaching credential program, you may be considered for— State University Grant Federal Work Study (FWS) Perkins Loan Federal Direct Student Loans Dual Degree Graduate and Teaching Credential Programs If you are admitted as a dual degree graduate student (graduate and teaching credential programs concurrently) you may be considered for— You may be considered for— Pell Grant (only while enrolled in required credential course work of at least 6 units) State University Grant Federal Work Study (FWS) Federal Direct Student Loans.
